Bayer and Hispatec Announce Global Alliance to Boost Food Safety and Traceability
Berlin, February 5, 2026 - Bayer and Hispatec Agrointeligencia have formed a global partnership to strengthen food‑safety management and traceability across fruit and vegetable supply chains. The collaboration was unveiled during Fruit Logistica 2026 by José Luis Robles, Digital Tools Lead at Bayer, and José Luis Molina, CEO of Hispatec.
The agreement fully integrates Bayer’s ResiYou platform with Hispatec’s Efemis and ERPagro systems, enabling producers and cooperatives to anticipate compliance with Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) across global regulations and private retail standards. The integrated solution will be rolled out in Peru, Chile, South Africa, Brazil, Spain, Turkey, Italy, and Morocco throughout 2026.
ResiYou contributes AI‑powered predictive analysis on pesticide‑residue dissipation, while Hispatec’s platforms manage field‑operation and production data. Through automatic data transfer, quality managers receive up‑to‑date compliance insights, and agronomy teams can plan treatments based on ResiYou’s predictive outputs—eliminating manual uploads and increasing operational efficiency. The alliance reinforces ResiYou’s role as a benchmark for responsible residue management, supporting innovation and sustainability in global horticulture.
