Following a recent review by [EFSA](https://www.efsa.europa.eu/)based on new scientific evidence, European authorities have updated the health‐based guidance values for acetamiprid. As a result, both the Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) and the Acute Reference Dose (ARfD) have been lowered from 0.025 mg/kg body weight per day to 0.005 mg/kg body weight per day. These new values, along with updated Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs), will become applicable from 19 August 2025, ensuring a more protective approach to consumer safety. In conjunction with the new ADI/ARfD, revised MRLs have been established under Regulation (EU) 2025/158.
