New EU Regulation on ADI, ARfD and MRL for Acetamiprid

There are significant regulatory developments regarding acetamiprid that will affect the management of residues on your crops. Following a recent review by EFSA based on new scientific evidence, European authorities have updated the health‐based guidance values for acetamiprid.


As a result, both the Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) and the Acute Reference Dose (ARfD) have been lowered from 0.025 mg/kg body weight per day to 0.005 mg/kg body weight per day. These new values, along with updated Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs), will become applicable from 19 August 2025, ensuring a more protective approach to consumer safety.

In conjunction with the new ADI/ARfD, revised MRLs have been established under Regulation (EU) 2025/158. For the selected fruits managed in ResiYou, the current MRLs have been reevaluated, and the new values are detailed in the following table:
