ResiYou wins another innovation award

We have some great news to share! ResiYou, our tool that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to obtain real-time crop residue predictions and ensure compliance with food chain requirements, has been selected as one of the 20 best innovations in the sector in 2024 by the Institut Cerdà's Observatory of Innovation in Mass Consumption. The award was collected by our colleague Agustí Soler, technical manager of ResiYou.
One of the biggest challenges facing fruit producers is ensuring that their production complies with food chain requirements regarding the Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) of plant protection products in the harvest. To help them comply with legal and secondary standards and facilitate access to supermarkets, at Bayer we have developed ResiYou, which uses AI-based models that allow simulations to be carried out prior to phytosanitary treatment and their results to be compared.
ResiYou was already available for strawberry, tomato, grape, apple, pear, peach, nectarine, cherry crops, among others, and has now added a new feature to predict residues in pome and stone fruit trees.
